This Hotel stands for its promise: relax, elegance, service and quality. I always book a Character room with sea view in the main building and it is really an experience to wake up every morning and look to the blue ocean in front of you. The room is fully equipped, and it creates a very modern and at the same time traditional atmosphere. The cleanliness is outstanding. The food is another key element in the experience. Besides having a one Michelin star, it offers a wonderful breakfast and the possibility of having light lunch or dinner by the pool. Also, worth to mention the Spa operated by L ´Occitane that offers a wide range of treatments. But why I like the most besides the friendliness of the staff, is the relax atmosphere you lived in this Hotel. You can hear the ocean, the wind and the seagulls. Maybe its location over a cliff is what contributes to create this atmosphere. If you are looking for a true relax, outstanding service and friendly atmosphere this Hotel is the perfect choice.…

It felt like your own little semi private villa. On the beach with a gorgeous pool.
The Main hotel building is beautiful and decorated with traditional Portuguese tiles. Our room was luxurious with windows on three sides; two aspects looking over the beach and sea. The staff were, without exception, courteous and helpful. Breakfast included everything you could possibly want.
Gorgeous hotel with everything you could possibly want. Oceanfront room with a terrace was fantastic. The pool area is stunning. The staff is warm, professional and amazing. Lovely breakfast overlooking the ocean.
If you are looking for a perfect stay at Praia da Rocha this is the place, with a location 2nd to none, a small but very cozy and sophisticated place, with special mention to its swimming pool/bar area and to its Michelin star restaurant.

Location. Alhough the picture on line makes it look rather isolated and private , it is closely surrounded by commercial businesses, Although we had specifically requested a room in the main historic building at $800 a night, they initially tried to give us a room in a motel like separate building that wasn’t worth half the price. The wait staff in the restaurant was not very friendly. Felt that it was very overpriced.
the hotel was the old ambassadors home and the decorating was so cleverly done. the views from the room was amazing. great staff, so friendly. awesome spa. i would recommend it highly.

Bela Vista consists of 3 separate houses, each with a unique design. All rooms are decorated with a marine theme and most provide views of the Atlantic Ocean from private balconies. Amenities include free WiFi and flat-screen TVs with cable channels.
Al fresco dining is possible on the terrace of the restaurant, facing the sun setting in the evenings. The menu is based on staple Algarvean and Portuguese food, complemented by a varied wine list.
The new Marina of Portimão is 800 m away and bikes can be rented to explore the surrounding area. Faro International Airport can be reached in 1 hour from the Bela Vista Hotel & Spa. Alto Golf Course is 2,5 km away.
